We are looking for an Associate Data Engineer to join our talented Data Team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining data pipelines and data systems, as well as providing technical support for our data scientists and analysts.

• Architect, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines that power our organization’s data-driven decision-making processes.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to deliver high-quality data products, providing technical expertise and support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy by working with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce data standards and best practices.
• Develop, implement and optimize highly efficient ETL processes to efficiently and reliably ingest, process and store large volumes of data in our data systems.
• Design, write, and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of our data pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members to ensure high-quality code and design standards.
• Monitor and proactively troubleshoot data pipeline issues to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and other technical challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their unique data needs and requirements, and design and implement data solutions that meet their business objectives.

• Experience with SQL and Python;
• Hands-on experience with the Spark framework;
• Experience with working in large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects;
• Experience with cloud computing, preferably AWS.

• 3 years of working experience in data engineering or related field
• Experience working in a start-up/scale-up in a SaaS platform
• Knowledge of Docker, Airflow, PostgreSQL and message queuing services like Kafka
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment

Private debt markets are challenging and fragmented: due-diligence, data treatment, risk analysis, reporting and monitoring requires a lot of effort and expertise.
