Nice to have:

  • PhD in hard science –a relevant degree will count toward work experience–
  • International work experience
  • Experience in Private Debt Markets
  • Experience with any of the following: R, Java, Scala, C++

As a Financial Engineer @Cardo AI you will:

  • Implement classical quantitative finance and machine learning models, specifically focusing on Private Debt Markets.

We offer:

  • An opportunity to develop models that matter and tackle real challenges of private market investments. Every day, our platform is making a difference for our clients, supporting them to do their job better and empowering everyone to make better decisions. We are improving the way private markets operate.
  • Agile development process: Some say they do it, we truly believe in doing it properly and in whatever form that allows the team to work at its best! With a wholesome approach to applying the Scrum framework, clear roles and responsibilities, we make sure to give every one of our co-creators a reputable voice on the user stories under their supervision. We don’t skip inclusive planning and are very thorough on our Retrospectives, enabling action to improve the overall experience sprint after sprint, one step at a time.
  • A good work life balance. We know that solving big problems can keep you up for long hours, but this is not the way to go. We have assigned a work-life balance officer that is responsible for our engineers in finding solutions and avoiding any situation of potential stress and burnout. After all, why do we even bother with Scrum time boxes?
  • Flexible and Remote Work. Remote opportunities, work from home days, and flexible vacation policies allow everyone to optimize their work-life balance. We are a result oriented business – face-time not required, although you might just want to spend your entire day with your great team. You choose when and where you want to work!
  • Learning and Development budget for courses, workshops, conferences.
  • An Entrepreneur friendly environment. You can participate in “Intrapreneurship in Cardo AI”, a project where ideas come to life from team members or “Cardo AI Startup Incubator” where you can invest alongside Cardo AI and become an entrepreneur.
  • Team Outings & Events. We bond outside of work over games, happy hours, concerts, chess, play-station, karaoke, volleyball, yoga, and more. We love to organize team retreats on the beach and on the mountains.
  • Become part of Cardo AI: We offer a stock option plan to all our key people so that you can become an integral part of the company and benefit from a potential exit event.
