This time, we are recruiting for an exciting role, an experienced Data Scientist with extensive data engineering and modelling skills, team management and leadership.

The Senior Data Scientist will work alongside the data science and technology team to advance the entire data science pipeline in Cardo AI and explore potential improvements for our current algorithms and develop new models.

At Cardo AI you will:

  • Design, Build and Deploy AI and ML models to production systems that interact with the real-time private markets investment opportunities
  • Lead the design and delivery of advanced machine learning solutions in Spark, Python (many data science libraries), SQL, with specific focus on credit risk, fraud detection, investment allocation recommendation models.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities
  • Guide and improve data resources, data governance and data connection protocols across all products of Cardo AI
  • Inspire and lead a team of junior data scientists.
  • Be part of a growing fintech company named top 20 Scale-ups in Europe from EIT Digital in July 2021 and Winner of Big Data Solutions from Big data value forum of EU in October 2020.

We are looking for:

  • Enthusiastic, proactive and driven individual with a strong desire to change the status quo and build scalable, reliable and high quality performing models.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills, preferably in Python.
  • Independent and fast learner that can work alone and in teams
  • Experience in data science at a technology company, fintech, consulting, investment banking, or product management
  • Experience with large data sets and distributed computing.
  • Experience in delivering within Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence or Big Data projects.
  • Experience working in Agile cross-functional teams across different offices
  • Curious to expand financial knowledge and excited to learn more about the intricacies of the financial system and learning on the job.
