How will your expertise contribute to everyone’s success:
✅ Experience with SQL and Python;
✅ Hands-on experience with the Spark framework;
✅ Experience with working in large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects;
✅ Experience with cloud computing, preferably AWS.
Preferred:
✅ 3 years of working experience in data engineering or related field
✅ Experience working in a start-up/scale-up in a SaaS platform
✅ Knowledge of Docker, Airflow, PostgreSQL and message queuing services like Kafka
✅ Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment

What will be your goals for your first 30/60/90 days:
✔️Architect, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines that power our organization’s data-driven decision-making processes.
✔️Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to deliver high-quality data products, providing technical expertise and support throughout the development lifecycle.
✔️Ensure data quality and accuracy by working with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce data standards and best practices.
✔️Develop, implement and optimize highly efficient ETL processes to efficiently and reliably ingest, process and store large volumes of data in our data systems.
✔️Design, write, and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of our data pipelines.
✔️Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members to ensure high-quality code and design standards.
✔️Monitor and proactively troubleshoot data pipeline issues to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and other technical challenges.
✔️Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their unique data needs and requirements, and design and implement data solutions that meet their business objectives.
