This time, we are recruiting for an exciting role, an Engineer Manager to join our team and support Cardo AI’s rapid growth in private debt markets. The Engineer Manager, in collaboration with the Tech Lead and the Product Owner, will manage a high-performing and agile software team with the objective of facilitating deliveries.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and inspiring his or her team to achieve their objectives. Your role will involve strategizing, project management, and staff management. Your collaborative attitude and interpersonal skills will help you thrive as an Engineering Manager.
What you will do:
✔️ Build, hire, and lead a world-class team of software engineers
✔️ Coach and mentor engineers on the team to further their professional development
✔️ Be actively involved in recruitment strategies, performance reviews, 1:1s
✔️ Craft a growth model for the units of the team and an operational, digital-first model for how they can effectively partner with geographically distributed set-up.
✔️ Constantly monitoring performance and delivery and detect opportunity to increase team efficiency
✔️ Contribute to department-wide initiatives promoting technical excellence, innovation, engagement, and diversity that help each member of the team to grow.
You’ll Succeed With:
✅ Proven track record of supporting technical teams
✅ Strong problem solving skills and background in coding is a big plus
✅ Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams
✅ Knowledge of growing teams and/or organizations
✅ Experience supporting product engineering teams
✅ A passion for delivering value to customers via agile software development
✅ Excellent knowledge of SaaS software technologies, best practices, and design patterns
✅ Excellent time management, prioritization, and decision-making skills driving high- impact, rapid, and iterative change in a fast-moving environment
✅ Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
✅ Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing strong engineering teams
✅ Experience with coaching and mentorship to elevate team performance
✅ Ability to take initiative and make an impact on the larger organization
✅ Ability to work remotely and manage your own time
