We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our team and play a vital role in the development of our Asset Based Lending management product. In line with industry benchmarks and best practices, the successful candidate will work closely with the product owners, external stakeholders and software developers to ensure that our solution meets the ABL market needs.
What will be your goals for your first 30/60/90 days:
✔️Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify market needs, gather and document detailed business requirements for the Cardo AI Asset Based Lending management product, aligning with industry standards and best practices.
✔️Product Development: Independently contributing in supporting the development process of the product by providing valuable insights and input on the design of new features.
✔️Development Process Oversight: Follow the development process closely to ensure that new features are correctly implemented and align with business requirements. Monitor the progress of development tasks and coordinate with developers to resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring timely delivery of features.
✔️Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and designers to ensure that the evolving product aligns with business goals and effectively meets the needs of our clients.
✔️System Testing: Assist in the testing and quality assurance process, ensuring that the product meets specified requirements and functions correctly as it evolves, adhering to industry standards.
✔️Data Analysis: Conduct independent market and data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can enhance the functionality and performance of our ABL solution.
✔️Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, ABL best practices, and regulatory changes to provide recommendations for product enhancements and process improvements.
How will your expertise contribute to everyone’s success:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is required;
✅ 4+ years of experience within banks, non-bank originators or asset managers with strong understanding of structured financed funding, direct lending and asset based lending transactions.
✅ A keen interest in both technology, private debt and credit markets products is essential. The candidate should be looking to grow his/her skills in both disciplines, reflecting a commitment to staying current with industry trends;
✅ Well-organized, flexible, and able to efficiently manage projects independently;
✅ Strong time management and prioritization skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively;
✅ Proficiency in Excel is required. Knowledge of SQL and Python is considered an advantage;
✅ Proficiency in English is required, along with familiarity with financial terms. Knowledge of the Italian language is considered an advantage;
✅ Experience with the software development process is a plus.
